10 cent shirt turn's little girls dress

Okay I got another 10 cent shirt from the thrift store....But this time I'm going to make a dress for my little girl. I started out with this spaghetti strap shirt. I loved how it had that brown part on the chest. Right away I new that would be perfect for a little girls dress.
So I just cut right against the brown part on top and then just tried to keep a dress shape going down.
I cut off the straps and just used the tie it had on the top as a halter dress sort of thing. Cute right! All I had to do was sew up the sides and that was that. I did make little flowers and sewed them under the brown part. I mean how could I waist that extra material. ( I sound really cheep right now!)
Then I got my little one to model for me! And boy did she!
The wind just happened to be blowing so I totally got the model hair going on. And no people I dont curl her hair its all Naural! Lucky girl right! I dont know how many people ask me if I curled it like that or if I permed it. Come on people like I would perm my 3 year olds hair.

What a clever idea to recycle something too cute to throw away! It makes wish I had a little girl :)
