10 cent shirt turn's little girls dress

 Okay I got another 10 cent shirt from the thrift store....But this time I'm going to make a dress for my little girl. I started out with this spaghetti strap shirt. I loved how it had that brown part on the chest. Right away I new that would be perfect for a little girls dress.
 So I just cut right against the brown part on top and then just tried to keep a dress shape going down.
 I cut off the straps and just used the tie it had on the top as a halter dress sort of thing. Cute right! All I had to do was sew up the sides and that was that. I did make little flowers and sewed them under the brown part. I mean how could I waist that extra material. ( I sound really cheep right now!)
 Then I got my little one to model for me! And boy did she!
 The wind just happened to be blowing so I totally got the model hair going on. And no people I dont curl her hair its all Naural! Lucky girl right! I dont know how many people ask me if I curled it like that or if I permed it. Come on people like I would perm my 3 year olds hair.

10 cent shirt Revamp turns purse

Okay so I started out with the hot pink shirt! I had big plans for the baby. I got a grey shirt out of the 10 Cent pile for the ruffles ( I know I splerged.) I cut the arms and neck they way I wanted it, and then I cut open each side and sewed it to be a litlle more fitting. Then I got the rufles made and sewed them on.

Looks pretty good in the pic right? Well when I tried it on the ruffles didnt match and I knew I wouldnt wear it. So instead of tossing my 20cent project in the trash I thought, What can I do with this? I thought I could make a bag out of it for library book. Or whatever we just happen to need a library bag. So I cut it a little smaller and just poked holes threw the sides and tied on the extra material I cut. And Viola I got a cute bag/purse! I bet you never would have thought you could do this for 20 cents!

10 cent shirt Revamp

Okay so I think I'm going to make this a weekly post. At my local thrift store they have a 10 cent t shirt bin. Awesome right.....right! So This shirt is one of my favorites now! Look how adorable it is, I'm totally diggen the pocket with a dove on it! I just cut off all the edges of the shirt and sewed it in to fit me tighter. I used the fabric I cut off to make some cute flowers. I just hand sewed them on and tada... You have an awesome shirt that was only ten cents, amazing! I think I like this idea so much because Its a fun project that doesn't take a long time and it only cost ten cents, who can beat that? So I know you are going to go find an old t shirt and totally revamp it up right know, and when you do send me a pic so I can get some ideas for next week :}
